Community Partners

For us at Bearpit Bristol CIC, we know the true success of the Bearpit will come to life only through community and collaboration.

Bristol City Council

The Council are our biggest supporters in what we do. Our 7 year licence was a great symbol of our relationship. They helped create the Stakeholder Group meeting which happens every month where we discuss issues & solutions  with any problem the Bearpit faces.

Cabinet Member for Place at Bristol City Council, Cllr Helen Holland, said: “We recognise the hard work by Bearpit Bristol CIC to make their businesses succeed – and bring life to the Bearpit in sometimes challenging circumstances. Congratulations to them for their success in winning this investment from Resonance which will further assist Bearpit Bristol’s ability to play a fundamental role in making this space a part of the city that can grow and be enjoyed by everyone.”

Avon and Somerset Police

Working with Police is an absolute necessity when working in a public space like the Bearpit. We really value the time they take to assure us of the safety of our staff and the public when anti social behaviour issues spike.  Over the year we've forged a really good working relationship and has definitely been reflected in the improvements in the space.

Incredible Edible Bristol

Miriam remembers the day she invited Sara Venn, founder of Incredible Edible Bristol to tell her how important a community garden would be for the Bearpit. Fast forward 3 years, the community garden is flourishing with work parties organised monthly by this amazing .

Helpfulpeeps is a community where people share their time, skills and knowledge to help each other for free. It's an amazing platform for community groups/projects to reach out to people who want to help.

Good Gym
